"So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith." (Galatians 6:10)

Part of bearing the "one anothers" of Scripture is to serve those in our local church body. We believe Scripture teaches that every Christian has a spiritual gift to use in service to the body of Christ (1 Peter 4:10-11)The local church is edified, and God is glorified when believers serve in some way. And every servant of the Lord should remember that it's more than just serving others; it is actively loving and caring for them (Galatians 5:13). Serving the church can look many different ways: prayer, teaching, evangelism (outreach), missions, worship, benevolence, hospitality, visiting, facilities...and many more opportunities and ways to serve your brothers and sisters in Christ!

If you are uncertain about your spiritual gift or desire to learn more, seek out your FAITHLIFE leader, an elder, or pastor. Contact the church office if you're ready to serve your Faith Family or have questions.
