The role of "deacon" is a recognized, God-called ministry assistant to the elders/pastors here at Faith Bible Church (Rom 16:1; Phil 1:1), who holds to sound doctrine and is biblically qualified in character and competency to fulfill their role under the spiritual leadership of the elders in the church (1 Tim 3:8-13).
