2023-2024 Awana Calendar

What is Awana?

Awana is a world-wide ministry focused on providing Bible-based evangelism and discipleship to children.  Awana gives children the opportunity to know, love and serve Jesus for a lifetime, no matter their background.

Why does Faith Bible Church have an Awana ministry?

Our Children’s Ministry seeks to glorify God by partnering with families to proclaim the gospel, teach the Bible, model godly living, and prepare children to be sent out where God has called them.

Our Awana ministry plays a part in that goal by providing opportunities for children to put their trust in Jesus Christ and learn to faithfully follow Him.  It also provides opportunities to equip the church body to serve the Lord as volunteers in the Awana ministry and be part of His mission by reaching the next generation for Jesus.

What do kids do at FBC Awana?

Children are divided by age into separate Awana Clubs:

  • Puggles (age 29-38 months & available to volunteer families only)

  • Cubbies (age 39 months to 5 years)

  • Sparks (K-2nd grades)

  • T&T (3rd-6th grades)

Each club schedule has the following components:
  • Large Group Time (focused on teaching from the Bible)

  • Small Group Time (focused on scripture memorization and discpleship)

  • Games

  • Worship
