Hospitality Ministry
The Hospitality Ministry is the public face of Faith Bible Church and its many volunteers serve guests and our church body in many ways each Sunday morning. Guests can often be intimidated by the size of our church, so our mission is to disarm their fears and help them feel at home. This is a great challenge and a great responsibility because we understand that our guests will be forming opinions about who we are as a church body from the moment they pull into our parking lot.
Members of our Greeting Team will likely be the first people our guests will encounter in the process of finding their way into our building and into the Worship Center. Later they may be offered a hot cup of coffee that has been prepared by another member of our hospitality team, and from there an Usher will help them find a place to sit. And all this takes place in a building that our Cleaning and Facilities Team has prepared for Sunday morning on a church site that our Grounds Team has maintained throughout the week.
Event Coordination
The Hospitality Team also helps plan, coordinate, and staff several events held at the church each year from Worship on the Green, Holiday Services, and Special Events like Weddings and Funerals.
It takes a multitude of volunteers, with many people working behind the scenes, to successfully pull this off
