Awana Ministry

What is Awana?
"AWANA" is an acronym for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed." It is taken from 2 Timothy 2:15, which states: "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does no need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
Awana meets each Wednesday night during the school year (September through April). Club starts at 6:30 p.m. sharp and is finished at 8:15 pm. To register one or more children for Awana... Click Here.
What is the Purpose of Awana?
The goal of Awana is "to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him."
Thus, the purpose of Awana is twofold: Evangelism and Training.
Evangelism - To draw boys and girls from the community into the Club ministry, that they may hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ and have opportunity to accept Him as Savior.
Training - To prepare Clubbers to fulfill the Great Commission, Awana places a great amount of scripture memory as a high priority.
