Faith Bible Church

While we uphold the importance of corporate worship on Sunday mornings, the FLOCK ministry was established early in the life of Faith Bible Church to serve as an avenue for keeping the large church small. 

We consider being in fellowship with an intimate group essential to the spiritual growth and maturity of every believer, and FLOCKs serve this purpose by gathering to study the Word, care for, pray for, and encourage one another.

Our New Testament example comes from Acts 2:42, "And day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart...". 

What’s a “FLOCK”?…
Fellowship ~ The intimacy of people who you know and are known by you creates an environment where encouragement and accountability can flourish.

Love ~ The core of the Christian life is love, and the tight-knit relationships of FLOCKs provide an environment where fellow believers more deeply love God, love one another and experience the love of God through others.

Outreach ~ A FLOCK provides various ways of taking Christ to those who don’t know Him, including coordinated efforts to meet needs of the lost in our community, inviting friends and neighbors to the group, and prayerful encouragement to continually let our light shine in our everyday lives.

Caring ~ The close relationships of a FLOCK provide ample opportunities to share each other’s spiritual and physical needs, to intercede before God on behalf of each other and to help meet each other’s needs as the Lord provides.

Knowing God and His Word ~ God and His truth are central to guide us toward God’s design for righteous behavior that is to characterize His sheep.  FLOCKs provide many means of “feeding” on His Word in order to apply it each day.
