The following Clubs meet at Faith Bible Church: Puggles - 2 to 3-year-olds (for AWANA Workers' children only) Cubbies - 3 to 5-year-olds Sparks - Kindergarten thru 2nd grade Truth & Training - 3rd thru 5th grade girls & boys

What does AWANA mean?
"AWANA" is an acronym for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed." It is taken from 2 Timothy 2:15, which states: "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does no need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

What is the purpose of AWANA?
The goal of AWANA is "to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him." Thus, the purpose of AWANA is twofold:

Evangelism - To draw boys and girls from the community into the Club ministry, that they may hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ and have opportunity to accept Him as Savior.

Training - To prepare Clubbers to fulfill the Great Commission,
AWANA places a great amount of scripture memory as a high priority.

What happens at AWANA?

AWANA meets each Wednesday night starting at 6:30pm sharp, so it is important to have your child to Club on time. We are finished at 8:15 pm.

Opening Session - At the beginning of the night, Clubbers gather in the sanctuary with their leaders and groups for flag ceremony, announcements, singing, and prayer.

Handbook Time - Clubbers recite and discuss the Bible verses they have memorized for the week. Clubbers receive points and awards for completed sections in their handbook.

Game Time - A game director is in charge of games that are played on the unique AWANA Game Circle. Clubbers have fun while they get exercise and learn good sportsmanship.

Council Time - This element contains worship time with songs and prayer, a message from God's Word delivered by the leaders, and award presentations. Each age group has it's own "Club".
